FEATURES

- Automatic reconnection: the browser now reconnects to the local scanning client on its own after a dropped connection, so scanning stays available without reloading the page or signing out.
- Automatic recovery: the scanning client now restarts itself after a scanner error instead of having to be closed and reopened manually.

BUG FIXES

- Missing pages: a page that failed to transfer is now detected and fetched again, so multi-page documents come through complete.
- Delayed results in background tabs: a scan no longer appears to hang when the browser tab is not in focus; the result arrives as soon as the scan finishes.
- Connection reliability: a lost or failed connection to the scanning client is now reported clearly instead of failing silently or leaving the page waiting.
